Welcome to I Run For The Party!
Now in its seventh year, I Run For The Party has proudly brought over 12,000 runners to their feet for health, community, and charity. IRFTP supports Cancer Awareness Project, a Nashville-based cancer education organization, Autism Society of Middle Tennessee, Not Alone, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society/Team In Training.
IRFTP courses are designed to be fast, fun and challenging, while also showcasing the best parts of Nashville. Any IRFTP race is ideal for the new runner or for setting a new personal record. Each route showcases Nashville’s most famous or up and coming neighborhoods including The Gulch, Germantown, Music Row, and more to keep those feet pounding. At the IRFTP Block Party following each race, complimentary Michelob Ultra, music, and tons of local vendors keep costumed runners partying for hours. Awards are given not only to runners in a number of racing categories, but also to the runners with the best costumes. I Run For The Party’s 4th of July 10K/5K is an official part of Nashville’s annual three day Let Freedom Sing Independence Day celebration. Runners in Nashville are privileged to run alongside service men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan in simultaneous satellite races that are also coordinated by IRFTP. Let the IRFTP 10K/5K series springboard you to the next level of IRFTP events. The Music City Urban Adventure Race and the Nashville 1/2 Marathon are rapidly becoming Nashville staples for those seeking a bigger fitness adventure. Challenge your brain as well as your body with these longer, more intense competitions. Please browse through each race link and get more details on each event. See you on race day!
